My love of travel began as a child attending travelogues with my parents. Then in 1988, I took my first international trip to perform in the British Isles with the EMU Madrigal Ensemble. I was wowed by the experience but returned to complete my degrees in music education, history, and earn a masters degree in the art of teaching. 

In addition to my 30+ year career in education, I also performed nationally and internationally with various professional choirs and my band, which led to many global connections and friendships. Combining my extensive travel experiences with my knowledge of the arts, music, geography, and history, I am happy to customize vacations that display the magic, beauty, and diversity the world has to offer. 

Creating international connections, with the hope of facilitating understanding and compassion of other cultures, is why I chose travel as my second career. I've been fortunate to visit over 65 countries and territories and 45 US states. Since the launch of Archway Travel in 2017, I have been excited to help people navigate the globe and make lasting memories!
